Some major surprises in this round of Euro 2008 actions where Wales again crushed to Cyprus, Romania edging Holland 1-0, failure of Germany to win vs Ireland, Turkey drawing with Moldava and the biggest surprise where Luxembourg managed the 1st of its campagin vs Belarus and an away encounter to boot. Luckily most of the big guns come into the gate for a winning percentage of 52.38% this week.

Group A - Poland required a win from its last 2 games to qualify where Portugal must at least achieve min of 2 wins to go through. As for Finland, two wins out of two are required while hoping for Portugal to drop points for a chance through.

Group B - With 2 games remaining, it is still too close to call for Italy, Scotland and France with just 2 points between them. France must win both of its remaining matches while hopping for a draw between Italy and Scotland in the final round of games to go through. As for the fate of Italy and Scotland, the crucial game would be at Glasgow where winner takes all.

Group C - Another five points from 3 games would secure qualifications for Euro 2004 champions Greece while the last place should be between Turkey and Norway with a point between them.

Whoa....what an update, now for some news around the world
1. First up for the South America World Cup Qualifiers where a brillant free kick gave Venenzuela 1-0 victory over Educaor; bringing 3 valuable points for the team's hope of qualification for its 1st world cup appearance.
2. As for the African version of World Cup Qualifiers, Madagascar crushed Comoros Islands 6-2 in the first round. Winners of the first round would join the remaining 45 teams in the second round matches.
3. Germanys' coach Low is delighted to have qualified for Euro 2008 after a 0-0 draw with Republic of Ireland. Hence the Germans have became the first team to join hosts Austria and Switerland next summer.
