As for Arsenal, a weakened team was crushed by Sevilla 3-1 making it tough to be group winners unless Sevilla falter in the final round. Making it worse, is the sending off of Wenger in the closing minutes.
In case of Chelsea, a easy 4-0 win over Rosenborg ensure their progress as group winners. As for Liverpool, the dream continue with a 4-1 home win over Porto, making it do or die for them in the final round of CL action. Come on Reds!!!!
Now to Scotlish representatives, Rangers and Celtic. Rangers need to win at home vs Lyon for a place in round 2 while Celtic would require a draw to ensure of progress. From what we have seen of them, it would not be difficult of them.
AC Milan and Inter have also qualified for the next round.
